From our Holy Father, bold emphasis is mine:

"[Art] does not proceed by indexing but by inquiry, indeed, its inquiry is a focused attention that is not satisfied with the mere sum of facts, for it never ceases to dig deeper, seeking the thread that unites them. Your [the audience's] art, when it resists homogenization, when it draws our gaze, when it compels us to pause before that which cannot be consumed, is a form of cultural and spiritual regeneration."

From Ken Kutaragi, the father of the PlayStation brand-- quotes from the article; bold emphasis is once again mine:

"Kutaragi also feels that, while games have evolved a lot and are much more advanced than they used to be, they have stagnated in terms of the content they provide. He says the way games are made has not fundamentally changed since the arrival of the original PlayStation... he stresses the importance of human 'curiosity', saying when you 'lose your curiosity and think, this is probably as good as it gets, it's all over.'"

Both of these articles were in two completely different sections of my news feeds, in the same day! It's always fun when spiritual and secular authorities arrive at the same conclusions.
